7 Letting God Love Me.

Ephesians 6:24 BLB Grace be with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruptibility.
This message takes place about 2-3 weeks after the resurrection of Jesus. In this message, Jesus confront the disciples as they return to the comfort of their fishing boats.
More specifically, though, Jesus reaches out for Peter. Jesus not only meets Peter where he is at, Jesus digs down deep into Peter's life.
Jesus knows that Peter is still struggling, from the events prior to the crucifixion of Jesus. Namely those 3 times when he so verbally and passionately denied ever knowing Him.
What we get from Jesus is a masterclass, on helping someone recover from a setback, so that they can fulfill their true calling in Christ.
Jesus reaches out to Peter, and deliberately loves the guilt, shame, regret and fear out of Him. Jesus will let Peter know that the cross was not his undoing, rather it was his beginning. The cross was in fact, not a setback it was a setup for something far greater.
The thing that haunted Peter, the crucifixion, was in fact the very thing that would set him free.
The question echoes through time. "Simon do you love me?" "__________ do you love me?" "HOW MUCH, do you love me?"
By the end off this message, you will be able to answer that question, and the answer may surprise you. Seriously, surprise you!
