You can find this well-known verse scattered all over social media. Everyone announcing what we all know! Even though we are NEW CREATIONS IN CHRIST, we still have some serious issues. I'm selfish, greedy and angry, and if I don't deny myself I'll never be able to love you.
There is only one problem! That's not the gospel. The gospel is not about me DENYING MYSELF, no the Gospel is all about me FINDING MYSELF IN CHRIST & EMBRACING WHO I AM IN CHRIST!
So how am I to understand the words of Jesus to DENY MYSELF?
This message will put Jesus' words into a Gospel context.
It is a challenging message, where we will discover a deeper truth! And, as Jesus said, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free!"
