Be The Resistance

What does it mean to be a Christian in a world that is increasingly moving   away from truth? Paul reminds us that the mystery   of lawlessness is already at work, but believers are called to remain   steadfast—ready for Christ's return, standing firm in the truth, and living for   His glory.   Our hope is not merely something we possess for the future—it changes   how we live today. Because we believe Jesus is coming again, we don't   surrender to anxiety, compromise, conformity, deception, comparison,   cynicism, or defeat. We become a people who bring the presence and truth   of Christ into a dark world. As the sermon emphasizes, we don't defeat   darkness by simply trying to outshine it; we hold the line by bringing the presence and truth of Christ into the darkness.   Through 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17, Titus 2:11-14, and 1 Thessalonians   4:15-17, we are reminded that what we believe about Christ's return should   determine how we live until He comes. Our future expectation determines   our present posture: Be ready. Be the resistance. Live for His glory
