Current
On Sunday, February 12th, we
have a Ministry Team from Grace Bible
College coming to minister
in the Morning Service.
How about an encouraging word.
The
Sacrifice of Prayer
I hope you have been blessed lately with the
messages on Prayer. I hope you are able
to see your own prayers
as David did, as incense rising up to the nostrils of a Holy God!
David understood that his prayers had the potential to be a fragrant
aroma, pleasing to God.
Psalm 141:1-2 HCSB
LORD, I call on
You; hurry to help me. Listen to my voice when I call on You. 2 May
my prayer be set before You as incense, the raising of my hands as
the evening offering.
What an incredible couple of verses
when you really consider them.
Last Sunday I talked about the
Hebrew writing technique parallelism, that is found in the
Lord’s
Prayer, actually it is found through the Bible, particularly in the
Psalms. It is in
fact, found in this very verse.
